TotalBoat Halcyon generally does not need a strong solvent wipe after sanding prior to reapplying more Halcyon. The most effective and safest method to clean up any sanding residue is to wipe the surface with a clean, lint-free, cotton rag that has been dampened with clean, fresh water. Denatured alcohol can only be used on Halcyon that has been allowed to cure for at least 48 hours under normal curing conditions. Oily solvents such as mineral spirits or other generic paint thinners should never be used as a solvent wipe on Halcyon.
