Surface Preparation
- Clean surface thoroughly using TotalBoat Boat Soap
- Remove all contaminants including dirt, grease, oil, water, and old wax
- For oxidized surfaces, apply TotalBoat TotalBuff and TotalBoat TotalShine before waxing
- Ensure surface is completely dry before application
Application
- Apply between 50–90°F and 0–90% relative humidity
- Avoid application in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces
- Work in small 2' x 2' sections
- Apply a thin, even film using applicator pad or cloth
- Do not apply a heavy coat
- Allow wax to dry to a haze (30 seconds to 2 minutes)
- Buff off using clean microfiber or terry cloth
- For best results, apply a second coat after 24–48 hours
- Reapply when water-beading or shine diminishes
