TotalBoat TotalBuff and TotalBoat TotalShine will perform best when used with a variable speed buffer.
The optimal RPM range for the buffer is between 500-1000 RPM for the lowest speed, and 3000-4000 RPM for the fastest speed. Wither either product, start at a slow RPM with more pressure to spread the material and allow it to work. For some buffers, the slowest speed may work fine, but it may take some adjustment to find the right speed that will work best. Work in a 2'x2' square area to prevent the product from drying out or missing a spot, keeping the buffer flat and constantly moving. Once the 2'x2' square has been worked sufficiently, increase in speed and reduce pressure against the surface. Commonly, the buffer's fastest speed can be used with very light pressure to finish buffing that area before moving on to the next area.
