TotalBoat Wet Edge can create a wrinkling effect for one of two main reasons. The most common reason is that it was applied too thick. The second possible reason is that the previous coating underneath was affected by the freshly applied coat, whether it was not allowed to cure long enough, or whether the solvent content in the wet paint was strong enough to affect it. The best way to fix these wrinkles is to let it fully cure, sand it, and reapply another coat. It is recommended to wait longer before sanding, then wait again between sanding and reapplying, to ensure that this issue does not accidentally occur again with the next coat of paint.
