The recoat time for TotalBoat FlexEpox without sanding first is dependent on the ambient temperature and the thickness at which the FlexEpox was applied. Ideally, FlexEpox would start to firm up, but still be tacky in order to form a chemical bond between coats, or applications of the adhesive. This is generally about 1-3 hours after it is applied. If the FlexEpox has become hard and is no longer tacky, it would need to be washed with a mild soap and water, then sanded prior to applying another layer.
