The shelf life for epoxy products is commonly at least one year from the date of manufacture, but this can be product specific as well. Most epoxy products have a technical data sheet (TDS) available as well, which should state the expected shelf life. If stored under proper conditions, most products can last much longer than the stated shelf life. To promote the longest shelf life, carefully follow the storage directions on the container or TDS.
If an epoxy product becomes crystallized, it can be reconstituted to a useful state by heating the material, commonly by method of placing the container in a warm water bath until all of the material reaches 120-130°F.
