Repeated cycles of freezing and thawing can cause epoxy resin to turn cloudy, chunky, or solid. This is known as crystallization. If this happens, it's not a problem, you just have to return the resin to its liquid state by warming it to dissolve the crystals. Place the crystallized container of epoxy resin, lid off, in a warm-water bath, heated to approximately 140°F. Using a clean stick, gently stir the resin until the crystals melt. Remove the container from the water, and replace the lid tightly.
