All epoxy products should state the ideal conditions for their storage. In general, epoxy products will have the longest shelf life if they are stored between 60-90°F, in a dry place. Always reseal epoxy containers tightly to prevent dust, contamination, and moisture from getting into the container. Over winter months, or in cooler locations, ensure that epoxy products are not stored on cold floors or against cold walls. Crystallization can set in on epoxy products that are stored in cooler conditions, or epoxy products that have been exposed to other dust or contaminants. Epoxy products that have crystallized must be reconstituted to their original consistency by placing the container in a warm water bath and heating until all of the material reaches 120-130°F.
