Always wear an appropriate respirator and do not ever breathe sanding dust from cured or partially cured epoxy. The chemicals in epoxy are reactive until cured. You can get serious health problems if you inhale epoxy dust particles. They become trapped in the mucus lining of your respiratory system, and can cause severe respiratory irritation and/or respiratory allergies and other health issues.
