TotalBoat TotalStrip paint remover is generally safe to use on epoxy substrates, however, if TotalStrip is left directly on an epoxy surface for an extended period of time (in a wet state, beyond the normal application procedures as described in the directions), it may soften or permanently damage the epoxy. To prevent any damage, regardless of substrate, always remove TotalStrip as soon as it has softened and lifted the paint, and rinse away any of the residual paint stripper with fresh water to prevent any damage.
