Antifouling bottom paint can be applied directly to TotalBoat 2-Part Epoxy Primer that has fully cured and has been sanded to the required grit specified by the antifouling paint. TotalBoat 2-Part Epoxy Primer will provide a very hard, inert substrate that the antifouling paint can bond to, but does not contain the mica found in barrier coats that creates the true water barrier.
