TotalBoat TotalFair epoxy fairing compound can form an amine blush on the surface if it has been cured under the proper conditions, so it is very important to always assume that it has formed a blush on the surface. Simply washing the cured TotalFair with soap and warm water after it has cured, prior to sanding, will ensure that blush is not a factor that can contribute to poor adhesion, or other forms of coating failure for primers or paints that are applied over it. It should be understood that any epoxy product, under the right conditions can leave an amine blush on the surface after it has cured.
