TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy can be reapplied or recoated while it is still tacky, to form a chemical bond between layers. When reapplying, it is recommended that the previous layer be either mostly absorbed into the substrate or starting to become firm but tacky, to help avoid drips and sags. If the penetrating epoxy is no longer tacky, the surface should be washed with soap and water and lightly sanded, before reapplying.
