Wet sanding TotalBoat TableTop Epoxy will reduce the high-gloss finish that the epoxy normally has. Depending on the desired finish, wet sanding with sandpaper grits ranging from 800-grit to 4000-grit (or higher) will leave the surface with a lower gloss finish. Take extra care and use plenty of water when sanding to help lubricate the sandpaper and avoid sanding marks. Using a lower grit sandpaper will leave a hazier image with a lower gloss finish, while higher grit sandpaper will leave a more clear image, and higher gloss.
