TotalBoat Halcyon varnish is a very low-maintenance product once it has fully cured. Though Halcyon is extremely chemically resistant, do not use heavy-duty or abrasive cleaners, as these may risk harming the finish of the varnish. Products ranging from boat soap, Simple Green®, Windex®, Pledge®, Murphy's Oil Soap®, or other mild detergent soaps that are diluted with water are also okay. Use a soft cloth, such as terrycloth or a microfiber cloth, to avoid scratching the surface or leaving streaks. Bleach and other heavy-duty chemical cleaning products should be very heavily diluted with water, and rinsed off immediately after cleaning.
Waxes and polishes that are safe for use on varnishes and wood finishes are also safe for use on Halcyon varnish.
