When applied as directed, TotalBoat Wood Honey should not change the color of any surfaces that it is applied to. Wood Honey does not have any tint or pigment that gives it its yellow color. It leaves an oil-type finish, which deepens the colors of the grain in wood, leaving a low-sheen to satin finish.
