Like most other casting resins, once cured, TotalBoat UV Cure Clear Resin becomes very hard, but may also become brittle. These traits would be increased around areas that are drilled and tapped due to the heat generated. This may make the cured material difficult to drill and tap successfully. Drilling and tapping the cured resin may also have limited strength characteristics as well.
