Can TotalBoat Halcyon be applied over shellac?

TotalBoat Halcyon can be applied over shellac if the surface has been dewaxed first.  

It is strongly recommended to always perform a small test sample in a small, inconspicuous spot, or on a separate sample piece to ensure the desired results before attempting the main project.
