Can I apply TotalBoat Gleam 2.0 to plastic?

TotalBoat Gleam 2.0 marine spar varnish is not designed for application to a plastic substrate. It is likely that the plastic will reject the varnish once it cures, and the film of Gleam 2.0 will begin to peel off.
