Is TotalBoat Halcyon varnish safe for food contact?

TotalBoat Halcyon varnish products have not been certified for direct contact with food.  

NOTE: Though many professionals feel that varnishes such as Halcyon are safe for food contact once the film has completely cured and is no longer emitting any odor, TotalBoat does not make any claims that Halcyon is certified or approved for food contact.
