Can TotalBoat Marine Wood finish be applied directly over Sikkens Cetol?

TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish can be applied directly over Sikkens Cetol after following a few simple surface preparation procedures.

If the Sikkens Cetol is in good condition, and it has been at least 72 hours since it was applied, wash the surface with TotalBoat Boat Soap and water, then dry the surface. Lightly sand in the direction of the grain using 220-grit or 320-grit sandpaper, then remove all sanding residue and wipe the surface with a clean, lint-free cotton rag dampened with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100. Allow all solvents to evaporate prior to applying TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish.
