Can I tint or stain Marine-Tex epoxy putty?

Marine-Tex epoxy putty comes in white or gray colors, and ONLY the white Marine-Tex can be tinted. Note that no pure color can be achieved by adding pigments. We recommend epoxy-friendly pigments, such as Fibre-Glass Evercoat's coloring agents for fiberglass and wood applications. A little coloring agent goes a long way, so be sure to use only a small amount—do not use more than 5% of the total volume of the mixed epoxy.

Cured Marine-Tex epoxy putty can be finished with most common paintings and coatings. However, it is not porous, so staining is NOT an option.
