Does TotalBoat TotalStrip paint remover change the appearance of the wood?

TotalBoat TotalStrip will remove the paint but may leave some color in deep, open grain woods that may require sanding in order to remove it completely.  

Where the stripper removes all the paint color, it should not change the appearance of the wood.

Clean up TotalStrip residue with water. The water will darken the wood when wet, but when dry, the wood should return to its original appearance.
