Can TotalBoat Thixo be used to repair a Hypalon® inflatable dinghy?

TotalBoat Thixo should not be used to repair Hypalon® products, as it is too rigid of an adhesive to be used with a substrate that requires as much flexibility as Hypalon does.

TotalBoat ThixoFlex can be used when bonding to Hypalon. Ensure that all surfaces that are to be bonded have been completely cleaned, and are free of any grease, wax, oils, or other contaminants. Always test for adhesion and satisfactory results in a small, inconspicuous spot prior to attempting the main project.
