The dry-to-tape time for TotalBoat Wet Edge is a minimum of 24 hours after the surface becomes tack-free (under normal application temperature and humidity). This may seem like a long wait period, but due to the nature of air-dry paint's dependency on environmental conditions to cure, as well as the wide variety of masking tapes available with different adhesives, it is imperative to allow sufficient time before taping.
